Ernie Ball to release passive Short Scale StingRay
Ernie Ball has announced a limited run of a short scale version of their ever popular Music Man StingRay. It’s built with an ash body and a hard rock maple neck with a choice of maple or rosewood fingerboards and Ultra Blue Marine or Raspberry Pearl finishes. Along with new lightweight Music Man tuning machines, the humbucking pickup also benefits from a redesign with higher output neodymium magnets that favour the shorter scale length.The electronics also include a 3-way rotary switch with parallel, single-coil and series modes.
