New documentary about Thin Lizzy frontman
Phil Lynott

Phil Lynott: Songs For While I’m Away is a feature documentary that tells the story of how a young boy from working-class 1950’s Dublin went on to become Ireland’s greatest rock star. Director Emer Reynolds interviewed a handful of musicians who knew Lynott or were influenced him, including Thin Lizzy’s Scott Gorham, Eric Bell, and Darren Wharton, Metallica’s James Hetfield, U2’s Adam Clayton, Huey Lewis and Suzi Quatro. The documentary will premiere in Irish theatres later this year with a worldwide release to follow.
