Korn recruit Tye Trujillo to play bass on their upcoming South American tour. Californian metallers Korn have recruited Tye Trujillo, the son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and a member of The Helmets, to play bass on their upcoming South American tour. Having single-handedly pioneered the nu-metal sound with their first album in 1994, the band’s regular bassist, Fieldy (whose nickname evolved from an original handle of Garfield, after the ample-cheeked cartoon cat) will rejoin the group in time for their North American tour in May.
