Paul McCartney to Appear in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Following in the footsteps of Keith Richards who played Captain Teague, the father of Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow, in a number of Pirates of the Caribbean films, Paul McCartney is set to join the Disney franchise in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. A cast list reportedly revealed that the Beatle would portray a jail guard in ‘an extra big set-piece scene,’ which was filmed after production had initially ended in order to add his cameo. McCartney debuted his character via a promo photo captioned #PiratesLife in which he’s seen holding a hand of playing cards with long, charcoal-colored hair and a bandana under his pirates’ cap.
