Trace Elliot Introduce Ultra Compact Bass Amp

The legendary Trace Elliot range has a brand new member – a small, gig-worthy amp that weighs in at just 1.6 lb. Behold the seriously dinky ELF, which produces a fan-cooled 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms. The 3-band rotary EQ section incorporates familiar filters: low centre (80 Hz), mid centre (500 Hz) and high centre (4.2 KHz), while the input gain stage runs through uncompressed, multi-band compression and into overdrive (with a red LED indicating when the compression circuit is active). Trace Elliot has also included a switch mode power supply that has thermal as well as over-current protection. Despite it’s compact design, at the back of the amp, there are plenty of options including studio-quality XLR outputs, a ground lift switch and a headphone output. The ELF also comes with an embroidered nylon carry case, an owner’s manual CD-ROM that includes the REAPER DAW and Peavey ReValver amp modeling software, and a Union Jack sticker.
